Amazing Dana the Magician cares about our children. For years he has performed the "Magic, Mystery Book Tour" at hundreds of schools. It showed students the mysteries that come from books and the power of reading but now we are facing a new problem:

America has a growing crisis. Our children are becoming less active. Obesity is a problem for younger and younger kids. They will suffer from health problems sooner.

In the "Magic for Life" assembly kids learn to eat five fruits and vegetables every day, that fish is brain food and can help you read minds, a strong body can make you as powerful as the escape artist Houdini. Junk food isn't good for you and good food makes you magical! All these concepts are taught in a humorous manner with magic. And, as always, the show will end with a child floating in the air!

Although Amazing Dana is not a nutritionist or doctor, he is someone who believes in and lives a healthy lifestyle. He is a member of The Coalition on Children and Weight San Diego and has integrated the goals of increasing the amount of physical activity and healthy foods for K-12 students into his presentation. And, he is approved by San Diego Schools.
